Well, here we are at Monaco plant having some work done on the rig. We are starting our 3rd week tomorrow.
Besides the warranty work we had to have done we figured we would re-model at the same time. We started on the bedroom and had the king size bed removed and replaced by a queen bed. They are building us a nightstand that should be real nice. We replaced the mattress with a Temperpedic mattress and justified the expense with "we spend 1/3rd of our life in bed" J .
We moved forward to the Living room and are having a desk put in the place of one of our couches. We made out on that. We swapped the J-Lounge for a Euro chair with some people here at the plant that Jerry met in the laundry mat. The other couch we are having recovered in leather. It is so much better with dogs!
The last re-model is in the kitchen. Jerry really disliked the pull out cabinet because you could see the rails on it when you are sitting in the Living room. He thought it looked cheep. So…. Since he does most of the kitchen duty we are having that fixed so the rails are on the bottom.
I think that should end the remodel for good since there is not much else to do.
Jerry’s son Danny is here for two weeks so that is nice. I will try to update this once a week if I have enough time J
