pick up a little fabric at Sew This. We then went to a State Park just to look around. the area was a little nicer than the park we stayed in. There was a little beach but after being in Destin, nothing could compare. The water was black.The one big building by the water had been damaged by Katrina and never fixed. The trees in the park were beautiful. So big, and so many branches although the pictures don't do them much justice.
Now, the Abita Pub Brewery tour was nice. All the beer you could drink, and they let us pour our own! The short tour through the factory was done very poorly but Jerry thought he should drink directly from the tap :)
Off to Lake Conroe Texas for 3 weeks. Oh how we miss Destin, :( but at least there will be Pickleball in Lake Conroe. I think the guys might be going through pickleball withdrawl after 3+ weeks of no Pickleball. I ordered a new paddle also. Shirley and I are tired of being "Pickleball Widows".
