Once in Florida Jerry and Neil took to the Pickleball court for sometimes 4-5 hours a day. It left Shirley and I no choice but to learn to play the game. We were becoming pickleball widows. Shirley and I got out on the court learning how to play. The game is a lot of fun and great exercise. For those of you that don't know what pickleball is, I have included a definition. According to wikipedia:
Pickleball is a relatively new racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, table tennis, and ping-pong. The sport is played on a court with the same dimensions as a badminton court. The net is lower than most other racquet sports allowing for faster playing.

It is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. (That would be Jerry and Neil).
This has been such an enjoyable season in Florida. We have met a lot of new friends playing this sport. The sad part is that we have left many of them as we are now moving back towards the West again. If all goes well we will still see many of them on the road as several of them said they would also be going to the west coast.
For now we will play pickleball when we can find a court otherwise Shirley and I will have to resort back to our Walk-Fit program that keeps us very active.
Off to California, we have to be in California by May 22nd for Danny's induction into the Marines.
